The Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society, Guwahati, has released a new recruitment notification for Hydrology Specialist, Gender Specialist, and Livelihood Coordinator positions under the ADB-financed Assam Sustainable Wetland and Integrated Fisheries Transformation (SWIFT) Project 2025.

💰 Pay Scale

Attractive remuneration will be offered as per the norms of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded projects and ARIAS Society guidelines.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria

🔹 1. Hydrology Specialist

Educational Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in Hydrology, Water Resources, Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Geology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years in hydrological studies and water resources assessment, preferably focusing on wetland ecosystems or watershed management. Prior work on ADB-funded or MDB projects and knowledge of tools like SWAT, HEC-HMS preferred.

🔹 2. Gender Specialist

Educational Qualification:
Master’s/Postgraduate degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in gender mainstreaming with donor-funded projects (ADB, World Bank, JICA, etc.) in rural settings. Must possess excellent communication and cross-cultural skills with fluency in English and local languages.

🔹 3. Livelihood Coordinator

Educational Qualification:
Master’s/Postgraduate degree in Livelihoods, Entrepreneurship Development, Food Security, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or allied disciplines.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in livelihood promotion, skill training, microfinance, social protection, or cooperative setup. Additional training in entrepreneurship, gender analysis, or income generation is desirable.
