Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) with NET/GATE qualification in one of the following subjects:
• Water Resources Engineering / Hydrology
• Civil Engineering (Hydrology Specialization)
• Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS
• Environmental Science / Geography / Geology / Earth Sciences
• Forestry / Agricultural Engineering (Soil & Water Conservation / Hydrology)

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with hydrological modelling tools (SWAT, HEC-HMS)
• Programming knowledge in MATLAB / R
• Handling and analysis of geospatial datasets
• Field experience in watershed data collection (streamflow, rainfall, etc.)
• Strong communication and scientific report writing skills
