ASDMA is implementing the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project (AIRBMP) with support from the World Bank. The project focuses on building institutional capacity, improving integrated river basin planning, managing flood and erosion risks, and strengthening water resource governance across the Brahmaputra and Barak river systems.

Through AIRBMP, ASDMA works closely with multiple state departments and project implementation units (PIUs) to establish modern financial, technical, and monitoring systems aligned with international best practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 6 years of experience, OR
• MBA in Finance, OR
• Master’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university with at least 10 years of experience

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in externally aided projects
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management
• Working knowledge of TALLY and other computerized accounting packages

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work full-time at ASDMA office, Guwahati
• Willingness to travel across districts of Assam
• Physical fitness for field visits
