Border Security Force (BSF) Recruitment 2025 Overview

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100) along with other allowances admissible to Central Government employees.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Sports Qualification

• Applicants should have represented or won medals in sports competitions as per the following criteria within the last two years (from 04/11/2023 to 04/11/2025):

For Individual Events

• Participation or medal-winning performance in any International Sports Event recognized by the International Olympic Association as part of the Indian team.
• Medal winners in National Games/Championships/National Open Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association or relevant sports federations.

For Team Events

• Medal winners in National Games/Championships (Junior/Senior) or recognized sports meets conducted by the Indian Olympic Association or Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
• The sportsperson must be a playing member of the team during the event.
  (This condition is relaxed for international tournaments.)
