The Central Bank of India has announced an exciting recruitment opportunity for Sportspersons under the Sports Quota in the Clerical Cadre (Customer Service Associate). Eligible candidates from Assam and across India can apply online for these prestigious positions and kick-start their banking careers while pursuing their passion for sports.

📋 Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on:

Sports Proficiency: Assessment of sports achievements.
Online Written Test: Objective-type exam covering general awareness, reasoning, and computer knowledge.

Eligibility

🏅 Sports Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify under the Sports Quota, candidates must meet one of the following sports achievements:

National/International Representation:

Represented India or any State in National or International competitions.
Medal winners in Junior National Championships.
Medal winners in the Khelo India Youth Games, Khelo India Winter Games, or Khelo India Para Games (age category above 18 years).
Medal winners in the Khelo India University Games or School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Chess Eligibility:

Holders of Grand Master (GM) or International Master (IM) titles.
Participation in the Chess Olympiad.
Achievements in National Open Chess Championships and National Team Chess Championships will also be considered.

University/School Representation:

Represented their University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board.
Represented State School Teams in National Sports/Games organized by the All India School Games Federation.

💡 Note: Sports achievements must be between April 1, 2022, and January 31, 2025, to be considered valid.

Qualification

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree: A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer operations is mandatory. Candidates should possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Operations/Language or have studied Computer Science/IT as a subject in school, college, or any recognized institute.
