📌 Available Posts, Subjects & Qualifications

1. The Programme Head (Professor/Associate Professor in Education) position (01 Post) requires a post-graduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Commerce, or Languages, an M.Ed., and a Ph.D. in Education. The candidate must have 10 years of teaching experience for the Professor role or 8 years for the Associate Professor role. A desirable qualification is a Diploma/Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.
2. The Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy role (10 Post) covers subjects such as History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Assamese/English/Hindi/Bengali/Bodo, Communicative Skill in English, Communicative Skill in MIL/Classical Languages, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. The candidate must possess a post-graduate degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks, a B.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks, and NET/SLET/Ph.D. in the concerned subject as prescribed by UGC/NCTE. A desirable qualification is an M.Ed. with specialization in secondary education or a Ph.D. in Education..
3. The Assistant Professor in Educational Studies position (02 Post)  focuses on Educational Studies. The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, and NET/SLET/Ph.D. in Education. A desirable qualification is a Master’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, or allied subjects. 
4. The Assistant Professor in Health & Physical Education role (01 Post)  requires a Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade. This is a part-time position.
5. The Assistant Professor in Art Education position (01 Post) requires a post-graduate degree in Performing Arts or Visual Arts with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade. This is a part-time position.
6. The Career Guidance and Counseling position (01 Post) requires an appropriate qualification in guidance and counseling. This is a part-time role.
