🎓 Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.12.2025)

1️⃣ Educational Qualification

1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University
2. Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders eligible
3. Professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, CA, ICWA are also eligible

2️⃣ Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 30 years

Date of Birth must be between 01.01.1996 and 31.12.2004 (both inclusive)

Age Relaxation

⚠️ Cumulative age relaxation is NOT allowed

3️⃣ Experience Requirement

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience (post-qualification)
2. Must be as an Officer in:
3. Scheduled Commercial Bank, or
4. Regional Rural Bank (as per RBI Second Schedule)
5. 🔴 Experience verification is strict:

• Job profile must substantially match SBI Scale-I Generalist Officer
• Mismatch = rejection at any stage
• 4️⃣ Local Language Proficiency
  • Candidates must be proficient in one local language of the applied Circle
• Language Test is mandatory, unless:
• 10th/12th marksheet shows the local language as a subject

🧾 Selection Process (4 Phases)

Phase I – Online Examination

(A) Objective Test (120 Marks | 2 Hours)

✔️ Aggregate cut-off decided by SBI

(B) Descriptive Test (50 Marks | 30 Minutes)

• English Language
  • Letter Writing
  • Essay

Phase II – Screening

• Verification of experience & job profile
• Conducted by SBI Screening Committee
• Only candidates matching SBI Scale-I profile proceed further

Phase III – Interview

50 Marks

Minimum qualifying marks decided by SBI

Phase IV – Final Selection

Weightage:

• Online Test: 75%
• Interview: 25%

Final merit prepared Circle-wise & Category-wise

Subject to qualifying Local Language Proficiency Test

• Basic Pay: ₹48,480
• Pay Scale:
                           48480–2000/7–62480–2340/2–67160–2680/7–85920
• 2 Advance Increments
• Allowances include:

🏦 Probation, Training & Career Growth

• Probation Period: 6 months
• Continuous assessment during probation
• Confirmation in JMGS-I upon successful completion
• Promotion governed by SBI’s general cadre promotion policy
