## Pay Scale – Assam Police Constable

Selected candidates will receive:

• Pay Scale: ₹14,000–70,000
• Grade Pay: ₹5,600

## Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2026

1. Nationality

• Must be an Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam.

2. Local Language Proficiency

• Should speak Assamese or any other recognized state language.

3. Employment Exchange Registration

• Mandatory registration in any Employment Exchange of Assam.

4. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• 18 to 25 years
  (Born between 01-01-2001 and 01-01-2008)

5. Educational Qualification

Candidates having HS or above may apply for both AB and UB, but must mention preference.

Selection Process – Assam Police Constable 2026

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
