2. Junior Secretariat Assistant

  • Finance & Accounts: 1
  • Stores & Purchase: 4
• Pay Scale: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200/-) as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Upper Age Limit (as of 14.02.2025): 28 years
• Essential Qualification:
  • 10+2/XIIth or its equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer typing speed and computer usage as per DoPT norms

Eligibility Criteria for CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment

Citizenship:

• Applicants must be citizens of India.

Age Relaxation:

Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Application Fee

• Candidates must arrange a crossed Demand Draft for ₹500/- drawn on any nationalized bank, valid for at least 3 months.
• The DD should be made in favor of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat”, payable at Jorhat.
• Deadline for submission of the application and Demand Draft: 14.02.2025 (including candidates from far-flung areas).
• Exempted Categories: SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR Employees are exempted from the application fee.

6. Download and print the submitted application form for future reference.

Submission of Hard Copy

After completing the online application, candidates must send a duly signed printout of the application along with self-attested copies of supporting documents in an envelope super scribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________ (Post Code _________)” to the address below:
