Pay Scale

• ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 (PB-2)
• Grade Pay: ₹6,800/-
• Plus other admissible allowances as per Assam Government rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship

• The applicant must be an Indian Citizen as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Eligible DOB: Between 01.01.2007 and 31.12.1984
• Relaxation:
• SC: 5 years
• ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• Ex-servicemen: 2 years
• PwD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

• Passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) / National Trade Certificate (NTC) in relevant trade.
• 1 year Industrial/Teaching Experience desirable.

Other Requirement

• Must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I: Written Examination

• Mode: Offline (MCQ-based)
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Marks: 100 (No negative marking)
• Subjects:
• Subject Knowledge: 60 marks
• General English: 10 marks
• General Knowledge: 15 marks
• Basic Digital Literacy: 15 marks

Phase II: Skill Test

• Shortlisted candidates (1:4 ratio) will be called for a Skill Test in their respective trades.
• Marks: 50

Final Selection

• Based on total marks of Written Test + Skill Test.
• Validity of merit list: 12 months.
