Lower Primary: 2900

Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 70,000 (PB-2) with Grade Pay and additional allowances as per the Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025

Nationality:

Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.

Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• SC/ST (P)/ST (H): 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years

Small Family Norms Policy:

Applicants should not have more than two living children as of 01/01/2021, as per the Assam Government’s Small Family Norms policy.

Medium of Instruction Requirement:

Candidates must ensure that either Language-I or Language-II of their ATET/CTET matches the medium of instruction of the school they are applying for.

Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary)

• Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
• Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET (Lower Primary)

Assistant Teacher (Upper Primary)

• Higher Secondary (10+2) or Graduate from a UGC-recognized university
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR B.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET (Upper Primary)

Science Teacher (Upper Primary)

• B.Sc. from a UGC-recognized university
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR B.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET (Upper Primary)

Hindi Teacher (Upper Primary)

• Graduate with Hindi as a subject from a UGC-recognized university
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR B.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET (Upper Primary)
